One of the challenges of eating low carb is boredom. At first, it's easy to stick to the basics... allowable low carb foods like meat, eggs, cheese, cream, butter, and green veggies. However, we live in a world where there is so much diversity, boredom soon sets in and can derail your well-intentioned eating plan.

Other Great Low-Carb Recipes

When it comes to food, I do my best to eliminate as many trans fats, preservatives, chemical additives, artificial sweeteners/colors/flavorings as possible. These ingredients are often treated like toxins by the body. The body deals with toxins and foreign substances oftentimes by placing them within your fat stores, usually around your mid-section.

With this in mind, I came across a great blog which has some great recipes which have an emphasis on whole foods, while also being low-carb. I recommend using these recipes when you are bored with your food or just want a treat. :)
