Baked Flan (Mexican Custard)

Baked Flan

Ingredients -

3 eggs
1/2 cup of half and half (30% cream + 70% whole milk)
1 tablespoon of real vanilla extract
64 drops of Stevia liquid (where 2 drops = 1 tsp of sugar sweetness)
Cinnamon or nutmeg

Preparation -

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
In a medium mixing bowl combine all ingredients and whip with a whisk until the egg is fully blended into the half and half.
Pour the mix into a small casserole or rammikin.

Baking instructions -

Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes 10:38, sprinkle cinnamon or nutmeg on top (optional), and serve either warm or after fully chilling in the refrigerator.

Optional - to make this dessert seem more like a high-carb dish, mix the cinnamon or nutmeg with a teaspoon of granulated sugar. It only adds 4 grams of carbs, but it makes a huge difference in taste.
